The Expanded Metal Company is shortlisted for business growth award
We’re pleased to announce that The Expanded Metal Company has been shortlisted in the Business Growth and Strategy category in this year’s EEF Future Manufacturing Awards: North East, Yorkshire and Humberside.
The award recognises the most dynamic business growth based on an actively managed and consistently delivered growth strategy including business expansion, product diversification or the implementation of a new international trade strategy.
The EEF Future Manufacturing Awards, which are celebrating their tenth anniversary this year, showcase the resilience, determination and ingenuity of the UK’s manufacturing community.
Philip Astley, managing director at The Expanded Metal Company said: “We’re delighted to have made the shortlist for an award which recognises our continuous efforts to innovate and grow our business.
“Throughout the past year, we have invested in staff, manufacturing capabilities, product development and the working environment at our site in Hartlepool, and the investment programme which is being implemented over the course of 2018 demonstrates our strong commitment to manufacturing excellence.
“Given the EEF’s prominent role as a voice for the UK manufacturing sector, it’s particularly pleasing that we’ve been selected as a finalist in the Future Manufacturing Awards. It is testimony to the exceptional work and skills of our team that we’re in a position to compete for the award.”
The winners will be revealed on Wednesday, October 31st at a Celebration Lunch ceremony the Pavilions of Harrogate.
