Bespoke cages for secure bin storage
Our cages range has been developed to provide safe and secure storage for a variety of items including tools, bikes and bin storage.
Traditionally, the panels of our cages are manufactured using ExMesh™ 3394F. This flattened mesh provides good airflow and visibility into the cage as well as being strong and durable.
However, our long-standing customer Swansea Council contacted us to develop a solution with a smaller mesh, that would prevent the ingress of pests to its bin stores at a local secondary school.
To satisfy this need we developed a bespoke mesh, ExMesh™ 1576 which has smaller apertures and therefore can stop pests from gaining access.
Benefits of flatpack bin storage
Owing to its flatpack design our modular cages are easy to transport, assemble and dissemble when required. This makes them a cost and time efficient solution that can be dispatched quickly and easily to sites as required.

In addition to the mesh preventing pests’ passage to the bin store our modular cages are strong and lockable with a variety of padlocks. They are also durable and come hot dip galvanised to EN ISO 1461:2022 with the option to be polyester powder coated in a range of RAL colours, making them suitable for long-term use outside.
Access to the bins is also supported by the cages’ double leaf hinge offering up to 2m access.
Whilst on this occasion we developed a bespoke solution for Swansea Council, our standard cages range are often available for next day delivery to mainland UK in enclosure sizes of 2m x 1m, 2m x 2m and 4m x 2m.
